Matt has grown a beard on three occassions. He is currently clean shaven.

Matt Woods is a strategic marketing consultant with experience across a range of sectors including FMCG and financial services but specialises in media and associated technologies.

He has worked with national and international businesses such as ITV, Coca-Cola, NBC, KP Snacks, CNN, Disney Resorts and UK government departments including Ministry of Defence and GCHQ.

Matt held management positions in marketing services, broadcasting, publishing and telecommunications businesses before becoming a consultant and subsequently founding Thomas Jerome Newton Limited.

Recent clients  include BBC WorldwideFuture Publishing, database search specialists Recipero and Peter Gabriel’s content optimization business, The Filter.

With particular interests in branding, intellectual property, licensing and new product innovation, Matt has a distinctly commercial and entreprenuerial perspective on the dark arts of marketing.

Matt is also an award-winning copywriter, visiting college lecturer and amateur writer and producer of music.
